How can I add a "stroke" to PhotoShop CS Vector shapes?

Sunday Mar 8, 2009

In the Layer styles dialogue, when i hit the check box for "stroke" it gives my shape a stroke alright BUT its a horrid thick red line.

How do I change that?

If you go to window>stroke that will open the stroke palet (apple + F10 on mac). If you knock the weight down to one, then go to your colors palette at the bottom of you tool bar, double click then choose which colour you would like(you may have to toggle between the fill and stroke colours, press x to do this). A handy wee trick is, if you hit d on your keyboard – this will reset your colours and weight which should give you a white fill with a 1pt black stroke.

hope this helps
