This video isn’t too straightforward. It was originally intended for newbies. Therefore, it’s quite basic… I might make a more advanced (and hopefully, better made) tutorial soon.

I apologise for the audio, I had a bit of a cold when the tutorial was filmed. This tutorial should show you how to create model quality images.
Feel free to leave constructive criticism- this is my first tutorial, so it probably won’t be the best on the internet.

I learned this technique from a web site and the good folks at gomediazine.com. I am just using photoshop and they are using illustrator and photoshop. They have this tutorial but you have to read it. There is a lot you can do with this technique. I had to edit this because it went a little long. if you have any question please message me back.

Photoshopで制作する切れ目のないパターン

ポイント！
・新規で、ここでは幅50×高さ50pxとしました
・新規透明レイヤーにパターンとなる絵柄を描きます
・上記レイヤーの複製をつくりました
　密度を高めるためにしましたが、
　とくに必要はありません
・フィルタ/その他/スクロール…で
　水平方向右へおよび垂直方向下へ数値に
　新規の幅と高さの半分にあたる25pxを入れます

シェイプツールでパターン柄を描画しましたが、
その際、ツールオプションのアンチエイリアスのONとOFFの
両方をここでは制作し、両方ともパターン定義しました。
完成のあとに、再度、違いを拡大表示してごらんいただいています。

ここではWeb向け解像度72ppiで制作しましたが、
DTP向けに解像度300ないしは350ppiでも同じ考え方で、あくまでも新規サイズの半分の数値をスクロース値に入れることがポイントです。
絵柄はサイズ範囲内なら、どこでもかまいませんが、
柄が重ならないようなサイズで描かなくてはいけません。
